Obama wins New Hampshire (eight months later)
DENVER -- The primary campaign might have been all over in January if Barack Obama had beaten Hillary Clinton in the Jan. 8 primary. So when the Granite State announced it had cast all 30 of its votes for Obama during the convention roll call, the crowd at the Pepsi Center let out a roar. It was yet another show of unity in a convention that's been carefully choreographed to produce plenty of them.
The vote also moved the roll call a few states closer to officially putting Obama over the top, which should happen any minute now when Clinton casts New York's votes.
